During this interview, I have met Vincent who is an aeronautical engineer for the DGA. I have had the opportunity to learn more about his job and activities, also about his journey between engineering school and his current professional status and finally about the soft skills required and that he needs in everyday situations especially concerning leadership.

Vincent is not a manager yet but sometimes he has to deal with situations requiring some leadership skills such as chairing a meeting beetween a client company and the DGA employees who will provide the service. Indeed, he explained me that in these kind of situations he has to listen each one opinion and idea (clients needs and demands and employees suggestions) but at the end of the day he will decide what will be done and by what means. Nevertheless, sometimes he can't really satisfy every employee's ideas and all the client's willingnesses and he had to learn how to handle that properly thanks to formations and experiences. Management skills are not an insignificant concept and he told me how crucial it can be on a team efficiency by giving me some examples.
