My exchange semester during my Gap Year in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada : (Fall 2023)
From August, 25th to December, 20th of 2023, I have been in Trois-Rivières, a quebecer city in Canada.

Out there, I have followed two master level courses about material structures and properties, material synthesis and method of characterization and finally one "license" level course concerning water management at the watershed level.

These courses were really instructive. Firstly because I didn't know a lot about materials excepting some thermochemistry and cristallization notions adressed in preparatory class and secondly because the watershed course gave me a insight of water management from the geographer and regulatory point of view while at N7 we study water sciences (not management), with a scientific approach.

Not to mention that I have also travelled a lot. I have visited numerous cities and places such as : Toronto, Montreal, New York, Ottawa, Québec City, Mont-Tremblant (below), Niagara Falls, Omega animals park, I have witnessed whales breathing in Tadoussac in the St-Laurent river. I have been amazed by canadian nature and hikes.

As far I am concerned, this trip has been an opportunity to discover a new continent, a new country and a new culture (even a new way to eat =)). It enabled me to adapt myself in a new and unknown situation, it allowed me to meet new people and make some new friends and overall it made me realize that I am able to travel, get through this ne situation and plan every details. It opened my mind and also my will to make new trips and discover other countries.
